I had a sit down w Chef Doug Thursday.  I learned a lot more about him and what he does!  Much more than just Apple Butter (Blog from a few weeks back).  And much more than private dinner parties in your home for you and a spouse or being the chef for your event so that you can enjoy your company…Debi and Cheryl, I may be giving you an introduction!

Chef Doug also helps prepare meals for those who are home bound and want a quality meal, not just something the home health aid prepares.  Not knocking the people who do home health, but their skills are in patience and kindness not food prep

Then, not that he actually asked me to write this or that I actually plan on become a food critic but …

LET ME TELL YOU!  I got a basket from Chef Doug and it had COOKIES!  YUM! YUM! YUM!

So my cookie review (not a food critic) is this:

Nice presentation of the basket and it traveled very well on the passenger seat!

My gift basket, it even had my name on it!

Very tasty!  It had lots of flavor and then … it had an after taste of more flavor!

Molasses!

These Oat Meal Raisin something cookies were just a great taste with a hint of cinnamon afterwards!

Oat meal yum something!

I am definitely glad I met Chef Doug at the Anderson County Chamber Party!  See what can happen when you get involved and join your local Chamber?  You meet people who write about it on the web!
And also invite you to BNI networking group to help grow your business by referrals!
And look at joint advertising opportunities!

But if you never venture outside your comfort area, you miss out.

So if you need a great cookie or a special meal for someone, Chef Doug may be worth a call.
